Bryan Chung
Director, True Vine Capital Partners
Bryan has more than a decade of experience in the tech ecosystem, including investing, incubating, and advising start-ups. He credits his early exposure to investment banking as an advantage in bridging the old with the new, resulting in a combination of knowledge and experience that adapts rapidly to the ever-changing market landscapes.
He was with a regional VC firm with headquarters in Hong Kong, and as a partner, he led the investments and management of a portfolio of startups in the mobile, digital media, and software sectors. On the advisory side, he led the IPO and privatisation of listed companies on the LSE’s AIM Market, executed cross-border M&A transactions in countries such as China and Australia, and undertook the trade sale of the largest media monitoring company in the SEA region. In his foray into fintech, he pioneered Crowdplus.asia, a licenced equity crowdfunding platform in Malaysia, which he debuted with successful fundraising campaigns.
Presently, Bryan is the independent director of Sim Leisure Group Limited, a retro-eco theme park developer and operator listed on SGX’s Catalist. He is also an independent director on the board of CPA Australia Ltd., Australia's largest accounting body with members in 150 countries.
