Yoshinori Nakagawa

Yoshinori Nakagawa is an IP Specialist at the Innovation Intellectual Property Center, Innovation Promotion Sector of Panasonic Corporation. Since joining the Sanyo Electric Company’s IP Department in 2004, Mr. Nakagawa has handled countless IP matters; including acquisitions, licensing, technology transfers, and infringement actions. Throughout his career, Mr. Nakagawa has actively monetized IP for both Panasonic and Sanyo through licenses and other transactions involving large patent portfolios in the field of semiconductor, display, and wireless communication devices. Currently, Mr. Nakagawa leverages his experience to develop creative business solutions utilizing Panasonic’s wide range of IP.

He holds a LL.M. from the Law School of Tsinghua University, China as well as a degree of Master of Science from his domestic university, Ritsumeikan, Kyoto. He has also worked for Sanyo as its foreign liaison to Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, a law firm in Chicago, US for a year where he actively participated in patent licensing.
